Kaz

I am also looking for the Rogers family but may think you are following a different line
I only started a month ago but we may have links with the same family.
The info i have so far is:

Richard William Rogers (b1852) staffordshire -m- Margaret (b1857) and their children
Alfred - 1876 - 1950
Samuel - 1880 - 1954
Richard - 1882 - 1951 - m - Emma Thomas
Daniel - 1885 - ?
Selina - 1887 - ?
Annie - 1890 - ? - m - Inman 1916 ?
Emma - 1892 - ?
Edward - 1897 - ?

The main one i am missing is Margaret Rogers who married Thomas Butler and lived in Nottingham
There is also a Clara Rogers who married john connor and possible children Cathrine, Carol, Susan, Margaret

If you think there are any links or have info you may have come across especially to find the missing Margaret (my grandmother) i would really appreciate it.

I have the 1911 census for Richard William Rogers and his family and the other children you mentioned are not there.  Are you sure that you have the right family.

Margaret is the daughter of Richard William Rogers and Emma Cox Pugmure (pugmur, pugmer)(Thomas is her first husbands name) Richard is the son in the family you have listed.  I have there marriage details if you want them and a lot of information on the various lines in the family.  Margaret was born 1920, Richard William 1921,Stanley 1922, Clara 1927.

Thats excellent information, i would love more info on the lines. Cheesy
But have to ask where do you fit in to the family?

My father (thomas Butler 1940 - 1995) was the son of Margaret Rogers and Thomas Butler who was born in nottingham and for some reason as a small child was shipped up to thornaby to live with RW Rogers, Emma Thomas and others at 43 James Street .  I am trying to find what happened in nottingham for him to be abandoned.  hope you can help

I know nothing of Margaret apart from who her parents were, where and when she was born and baptised.  My Great grandmother was Annie Rogers that you had on your list
