Thomas Arnott: USA to Australia

I'm trying to find out if Thomas Arnott (b. 1881, Hednesford, England) emigrated from the USA to Australia.

Thomas originally emigrated to the US and then married Florence Louise McCathern in Detroit, Michigan, in 1923.

According to a relative, Thomas may have gone to Australia and had something to do with biscuits.... could this be related to Arnotts biscuits in Australia? ....although the company was founded by William Arnott from Fife, Scotland and I can't find any connections to Thomas.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone has any info.

Thomas' parents were Thomas Frederick Arnott and Martha Ann Wood.
