Hi there is anyone searching for the Johnson family in Kings Sutton in Northamptonshire.
I've got some basic info from the census returns and Free Reg has some documents as well. But would like to know more.
My ancestor was Richard Johnson. He's the oldest on the 1841 register.
would love to hear from anyone else doing the same research

This is the family where I started, although I do have
Elixabeth and Richard's parents names,
Richard is my starting point.

1841 census:
Richard Johnson 45 b 1796
Elizabeth Johnson 45 b 1797
Married 10th July 1817
Ann Johnson 15 b 1826
John Johnson 10 b 1831
Sarah Johnson 10 b 1831
Elizabeth Johnson 9 b 1832
William Johnson 5 b 1836
Thomas Johnson 2 b 1839

This is the family living in
Wales Street, Wales, then a
hamlet it seems of Kings Sutton.
and Richard worked on the farm
next door.

In 1851 they moved to Astrop where
Richard worked for the estate there.
Their neighbours were the Morbeys.

By 1861 Richard was an elderly man
and had moved in with the Morbeys.
Daughter Sarah has married I believe William Moreby
Richard's wife Elizabeth died 1851.

The branch of the family which connects
to me is William Johnson b 1836 who
moved to Oxfordshire.
He's the unusual one.

I only have reference to one Baptism.

Kings Sutton Parish Church Baptisms.

Pg.18 No.142
Born 11 May 1817 Baptised 13th July 1817
Thomas Son of Richard & Elizabeth Johnson, Kings Sutton, Labourer.
