Hello,

i am trying to locate Harriett Brookes and family on census records but cannot find them?

I have a marriage certificate for Peter James Walker to Harriett Brookes in Watford 1918.

Harriett was 21 so year of birth c. 1897.(tried 1901 / 11 census but cant locate)  Father listed as George James Brookes (corpl) - occupation jailor.

I cannot locate them on any census or a birth or death record for her or Peter James Walker.

anyone help?

Hi Nik,

Found something on Peter.     Born 27Sep1894 at Croxley Green, birth registered Dec quarter 1894 Watford District V.3a P.604.    Baptised 04Apr1897 Croxley Green s/o James and Barbara Emma WALKER.  1901 census ref RG13/1321 F.6 P.3 records Peter with his parents at Scots Hill, Croxley Green.
