Peter Smith, Kilmainham, circa 1855
« on: Wednesday 08 April 09 21:14 BST (UK) »

My great grandfather James Smith of Kilmainham, County Meath married Rose Dolan of Boynagh, Kilmainham township on June 5, 1874. On the GRO copy of the marriage certificate that I had obtained, it identifies James' father as Peter -- a mason.  Griffiths Valuation of County Meath or 1855 lists a Peter Smith of Eden, Kilmainham township. Peter is the earliest ancestor on my father's side that I can trace and would appreciate any additional information i.e wife's name or his father's if possible. Thanks to all in advance.
