Thomas Payne

Hi Looking for information on Thomas Payne, death certificate says he was an attendant at an asylum, but I am starting to think he may have been an innate!  His dates are 1858-1914, buried alone here in Banbury, doesn't appear to have been married!  Any suggestions about Lunatic Asylums and their staff and patients would be very helpful!

Thanks for response, his parents were William and Lucy Payne from Banbury, although Thomas and at least one of his siblings were born in Coventry!  Mothers maiden name was Jackson!  Have contacted Littlemore Hospital and hopefully will hear from Warneford shortly, have much info on Payne family etc  Thom born first quarter 1858 and died last quarter 1914!
