Finding a grave - completed
« on: Saturday 11 April 09 11:06 UTC (UK) »

I have just received the death certificate of my husbands great grandmother.

She was Eliza Frances Blanks, died age 77 years 4.2.1925 at Thame, Oxfordshire. We would like to find her grave.  Can anyone give me some idea of how to find out if she was cremated or buried - if buried how do I find out which graveyard she is in?

Any help would be gratefully received.

On OFHS Thame disc there are 2 Blanks burials
Charles 1910
Eliza Frances 1925
From what I make out they were at St Mary's the Virgin.

Hello again Allisont or anyone who might know,

Is there anyway that I can check on line or by telephone whether these graves are in St Mary's the Virgin and also their location number?  We come down the M40 occasionally, so it would be nice to pay our respects.

I'd give the church office a ring, they might know or point you to someone who does.

Great minds think alike.  That is exactly what I plan to do on Tuesday.

Thanks again for all your help.
