LANYON family St Just
« on: Saturday 11 April 09 11:07 UTC (UK) »

Can anyone tell me anything about Mary Cordelia Lanyon b1845 and her sister Nanny b1849? They were the daughters of William Lanyon and Avis (Pearce). I know Mary Cordelia had a son, Thomas Warren Lanyon - father unknown - in 1864 who was living with his grandmother Avis in 1871. I have not been able to find a marriage or death for Mary or Nanny.  Some of the family moved to South Wales from Cornwall when the tin mining ended. I know sister Susan Ann married Samuel Maxworthy and they lived in Mountain Ash. Brother William Henry married Jane Randle and they lived in Llanwonno.
