I am given to understand that a Frances Elizabeth Varney visited England from Canada soon after WW1. Frances was born about 1875, St Albans, Herts.
Frances had emigrated to Canada 1913 with her family.

Can she be found please?

There is an arrival on 17.6.1924 from Montreal/Quebec to London

Frances Varney aged 50 b 1874 
Emily Varney aged 59

Ship was Andania and both were going to 92 Sundridge Rd St Albans

Hello Carole

You very kindly found for me a few days ago details of Frances Elizabeth Varney and Emily Varney arriving in England from Canada 17th June 1924.
I am now given to understand that they stayed for about one month before returning to Canada, is it poss please to find when they returned and the name of the ship,

Hi

www.ancestorsonboard.com have Frances leaving Southampton for Quebec in 1924 but nothing for Emily

Sorry - I don't have a subscription and you have to pay for further info
