Registrar-which one?
« on: Monday 13 April 09 20:47 UTC (UK) »

Hi,
It's been ages since I applied for a birth/marriage certificate and now I'm not sure whether I need the city council or county council website, if I'm trying to download the forms for records from the parish of St Mary's?
Tried looking on the city council website and couldn't find anywhere to download the forms. Have downloaded them off the county council site, but there's no point filling them in if they don't hold St Mary's entries..I've done it before, but even the county council site doesn't have an address to send the forms to!
Help! Has anyone applied recently?

Hi Burto

St Marys is the City. But I always apply via GRO. Any look ups please ask.

Hi Burto

The Nottingham Register Office would be the local office.  I couldn't see anything about applying for certificates but suggest you contact them
