I am trying to find birth or christening details for a Helen Gregory. From the census details 1851 - 1871) she has given her place of birth as Aberdeen.
On her marriage certificate (married John White in Hornby, Yorkshire on 3rd June 1840) her fathers details were given as Alexander Gregory, occupation Parish clerk.
I haven't been able to track down Alexander, so I'm afraid I can't offer any further info on her parents.
She appears to have been working as a laundry maid at Hornsby Castle for the Duke of Leeds at the time of her marriage.
Birthyear not included but this extract from your other post

Alexander Gregory (Parish Clerk according to his daughters marriage certificate in Hornby, North Yorkshire in 1840) had a daughter Helen born somtime between 1808 -11. Dates vary in different census, but its probably more likely to be 1810 -11.
I will include the link to avoid any duplicated efforts
If Alexander Gregory was a Parish Clerk in Aberdeenshire it is possible that Aberdeen City Council might have some record of him. http://tinyurl.com/cacmq3
