Can anybody look up monumental inscriptions for the name Nimmo in the following areas, Ratho, Phlipstown, Carriden from 1694 to the 1800's please,they were all born & married in these areas,but I cant find burials or census

Hi
Can you be more specific with first names and dates of birth and death, please. There are a few in Carriden and quite a lot in Linlthgow, which is where they would be buried if they lived in Phillipstown, I think.
MI's for Ratho have not been published as far as I know.

These dates are marriage dates,sorry no birth or death,not much to go on I know.

The first names and wives names help a lot when searching.
Unfortunately only one shows and the details are sketchy, so may or may not be yours.
This one is in Linlithgow.
Erected in 1825. Thomas Nimmo 2 children. That's all it says.

Thanks ,I think Thomas had several children,I will keep looking hopefully I may find more details of births,deaths ect.

No sure which line you want to trace.
However using www.familysearch.org I have found out the following so far:-
Matthew who married Janet Davie had the following children:-
Henry 1796, John 1798, Agnes 1800, David and John 1803, Hugh 1805, Janet 1808 and James 1811.
A Janet Nimmo born abt 1808 married Thomas Henderson in 1828. They had the following children:
Janet Davie Henderson 1829 (named after her grandmother!)
Isabella Henderson 1831
Agnes 1833
Elisabeth 1834.
There is an MI in Kirkliston for the following:-
Thomas Henderson, contractor died 26/6/1842 aged 49. Wife Janet Nimmo died 12/6/1859 aged 50. Daughter Isabella died 10/7/1841 aged 10, son infant, Agnes Henderson died 5/2/1905 aged 72.
As Janet and her daughter died after 1855 you should be able to get their death certs from www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk which will show their parents names.
Also David Nimmo b 1803 marries Jane McGill in 1828 and have 10 kids. You can find the names of the children on the familysearch website
Looks like them in 1851:-
Kirkliston Village.
David Nimmo 47, born Abercorn, Wright
Jane Nimmo 44, wife, born Kircudbright
Barbara Nimmo 12, dau, Born Abercorn
David Nimmo 8, son, born Kirkliston
Thomas Nimmo 6, son, born Kirkliston
Jane Nimmo 3, dau, born Kirkliston
Hugh Nimmo 0, son, born Kirkiston
Looks like them in 1881:-
Main Road Kirkliston
David Nimmo 77, forn Abercorn, Carpenter
Jane Nimmo wife, 73, born Kirkcudbright
Margaret Brady, Dau on visit, 28, born Kirkliston (now you have another line to follow)
Ellen Brady granddaughter 3, born Kirkliston
Margaret Brady granddaughter, 1, born Kirkliston
As David Nimmo lived until 1881 you should now be able to find his death cert also on the Scotlandspeople website which should show his parents names.
There is an Mi in Abercorn for David and Jane McGill
David Nimmo, wright, Phillipstoun, died 5/6/1884 aged 81, wife Jane McGill died 11/1/1883 aged 76. Daughter Barbara died 7/2/1830 aged 2, Barbara Nimmo at Kirkliston died 17/11/1870 aged 30. Jane Brady died 29/6/1874 aged 5 months. Jane Brady died 25/3/1875 aged 3 months, Jane Nimmo died 7/7/1876 aged 26.
