Can anyone find me any reference to Matthias Robinson born probably 1751 died 1808 in Torksey and paid land tax there. I can't seem to find any definite references to him other than land tax. IGI has given me his suggested birth and death.

IGI has his baptism (extracted from Torksey register) http://tinyurl.com/yfkc7t4

I don't know where you found the other stuff Huh

Marriage here http://freereg.rootsweb.com/cgi/SearchResults.pl?RecordType=Marriages&RecordID=547237

There is a burial here http://freereg.rootsweb.com/cgi/SearchResults.pl?RecordType=Burials&RecordID=1272491

but age is a few years out for a 1751 birth (but not a 1751 baptism).

It could be there are 2 Matthias Robinsons Father and son as marriage date seems a bit late and we have burial date for 1808. This was the time that John Bullivant took over the land.

To match the 1818 burial in Welton, there was a marriage there to Elizabeth ABRAHAM in 1775.

It seems likely the one in Torksey was a different chap.
