Knight family in Lindfield

Looking for family of Thomas Knight,born Lindfield Sussex abt.1800,he moved to Reigate Surrey,where he had a tailor drapers shop,he was married twice,possibly to Letitia Briggs and to Elizabeth Lannaway

I remember the drapers shop 'Knights' in Reigate from when I was a child!!!

HI, me again!

Are you a member of the Sussex Family History Group, they now have a database on their website for parish registers and I know Lindfield are on there but its only accessible to members. 

If not I'll have a look for this family when I get home tonight.  I'm currently at work!

It was still there in the 1970's. Dont know if it still is or not. havent been to Reigate for some years

Just had a thought as he lived in Reigate there isn't a chance it could actually be Lingfield in Surrey rather than Lindfield in Sussex could it?

he says Lindfield, Sussex

Elizabeth says born Horley in that one.

Checked the web sites,i will ring the shop to see if anybody there has anything on the family,i have several photos taken at studios in London,of people i have no idea who they are,but i think they must be either Knight or White family
