hi ,i don't know if he is in our line, just trying to find out if he could be.farthest back i've got is john coppock 1686-1753, he must have had siblings also parents but i've come to a blank wall at the moment, my john was from hale and a yeoman but if he was born there i don't know. but they must all be related some where along the line.he married margaret warburton also from hale cheshire england. i have found arron coppock from marple  c moberly with 3 sets of parents so which ones his i don't know, there seems to be a few arrons,  william, bryan, johnand newton seem to be names that keep cropping up on my line, i'm just at a loss, i have sent for the will of john coppock weather it is him or not i will have to wait ans see, but it may give me info that i can use. thanks for replying  and hope to hear from you soon peter.

Newton Coppock had many children.  I am descended from his daughter Anne who moved to Australia in 1831.  I have a distant cousin James White who keeps a fairly detailed family tree at:

http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=jhlw-514&id=I23

(The link points to Newton Coppock)

He might be able to help you

I've also contacted the person who runs this project:

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~warburton/

From memory, Margaret Warburton fits into his family tree as does Newton Coppock's mother, Sarah Warburton.
