Duxford St John, maybe?? Baptism Thomas Pamplin
« on: Thursday 16 April 09 19:16 UTC (UK) »

Hi - I have a Thomas Pamplin marrying Sarah Rowling/Rowley on 5 Jan 1757 in Trumpington

IGI has a Thomas Pamplion baptised on 6 Oct 1745 (Sarah was baptised in Trumpington on 5 Jan 1757.

I'm trying to see if these Thomas' match and if so, whether further lines can be found for him

thank you

Phil

Sorry, bit confused.  The baptisms you are looking for aren't for the two people who married in 1757 are they because the dates don't add up.  Too young to be married from your dates.

Really sorry, after having the cheek to pull you up on your dates I still can't find anything of use to you.  I only have the baptism of Thomas Pamplion as you do.

Sorry again

I'm really not sure.  Quite a big area I guess.  I don't have any access to anything else I'm afraid.

Sorry again.  Hope you get your answer.

According to Boyds Marriage Index data on http://www.englishorigins.com/help/popup-aboutbo-bmi-countydetails.htm there were 171 ancient parishes in Cambs. I suppose you could use their list, or www.genuki.org.uk , to eliminate those parishes that have been extracted onto the IGI, and then use the Cambs FHS site at http://www.cfhs.org.uk/index.html to see which of the remaining parishes have been transcribed.

Awful lot of work though!
