hi

i am searching for a william thompson, no birth date or place as yet, but i believe ancestry has his wife and daughters on scotland 1871 census

please can anyone look for me to see if william is with them/on the next page etc

William does not seem to be living there during the 1871 census, according to ScotlandsPeople.

They have Emma as aged 29,  Kate and Caroline are listed.

thank you for looking hibee

its all so confusing, i was hoping william was there somewhere.

i have emma and kate born halifax,yorkshire but does the transcription say that caroline is 2 and born in somersetshire ? because on the 1881 census the family are living in london again william (father) is not there but another son william has appeared and born in liverpool and no trace at all of caroline  Huh
