The date of death of John is incorrect, it should be 22nd Dec 1856. What is your connection? They are my ggggrandparents

Hi Andy.....

No "connection" at all that I can find at present......but Margaret Neish nee Bre*ner, daughter of above, had in 1851/1861/1881 census Kildrummy, Aberdeenshire as birthplace, and brother John lived/begat @ Alford, so who knows....

Naturally interested in all born @ Kildrummy, although in this case, records show possibly should be Marnoch, Banffshire......

In 1841/1851 census, have found some additional, apparently unrecorded births to above couple than the five known @ Marnoch ie Louisa, Jessie and possibly Harriet and Jane.....

Will contact you privately if you agree, as I am getting a tad "muddled" re birthdates/children/grandchildren......

Hi Ysabeau

I have Margaret baptised Marnoch 4th Nov 1812 but I haven't explored any further yet. Harriet & Jane are, I believe, granddaughters. I'll have to go back to check my files but from memory I think they were both daughters of James prior to his marriage.

I'm descended from Helen Duff daughter of Mary Bremner.
