Swann family of Chesterfield
« on: Friday 17 April 09 09:50 UTC (UK) »

Has any body anything on the family of William Thomas Swann and Annie Elizabeth Graves,my great grand mother Kate Annie Swann was their eldest daughter, she was born at Litchurch Derby, but by birth of second daughter Emily Mary in 1874,they had moved to Chesterfield.I think their son Charles worked at Welbeck colliery in the 1920`s

Well my Graves originate from Lincolnshire, near Notts border, but i can`t see any connection, although the christian names in this family certainly keep cropping up in my Graves,so possibly some connection way back, they also moved to Yorkshire and Derbyshire back end of 1800`s
