I am looking for anything on Joshua Farrer who wed Emily Kibblewhite 30 Jan.1878,at St.Lukes Woolston,Canterbury New Zealand,he gives place of birth as county Wicklow Ireland born abt.1853,parents William and Alice,his sister Alice travelled to N.Z. on same ship as Emily the Blairgowrie 1875

Hi

Are you certain that the surname is spelled Farrer?  Griffiths Valuation for Coolfancy, Crosspatrick, Co Wicklow (taken approx 1852-53) mentions an Alice Farrar, Joshua  Farrar, Samuel Farrar and a William Farrar.

Could be them,name sometimes given as Farrar in N.Z.When he was in N.Z.Joshua was a baker,he went to N.Z.in 1872 on the Hereford
