I have a photo (newspaper clipping) of my grandfather Andrew McAnulty standing alongside Keir Hardie and others (described as 'organizers of General Works Union') on/at what I presume to be the the official opening of the reservoir. It is described as Largs Reservoir underneath picture but more recent photo of the Outerwards one seems to match. Are they one and the same?

It must have been taken between 1888 and 1915. Can anyone please tell me (a) The exact date of the opening and (b) which local newspaper might have printed the picture?
