Name:     George Jones
Birth:    abt 1808 - Haroldston St Issell, Pembrokeshire, Wales ?  Huh
he had a son called

Thomas Jones
Birth:    abt 1831

Hi

Did you get George's name from Thomas's marriage cert?

If so - what was George's occupation

This is the only 1841 entry I can find with a father George.  However - there were some entries with widowed mothers etc

Civil parish was Monckton - all b in county

George Jones 40  labourer
Hannah 40 
Thomas  10 
Fanny  6 
Hannah  2
