Hi Pam

Many thanks for all the info I was concentrating on the Rosedale area yes I am a numpty, James youngest son George my 3 x great grandfather lived there with his wife Mahala dau of John Fletcher in the other post I put in this section, and as most of my info on James's children concerns George's family  I had thought James might still be living in the area.  I did notice that it's only just over 7 miles from Rosedale to Egton so that would make sense for  James living fairly close to all his family.

I've found Ann's marriage to Richard Milner 12 Apr 1831 Danby by Egton Yorkshire M105321

I am sure that James died at the home  of his daughter, I've lost the info in my notes somewhere but if so that would fit in with the Leaholm Bridge connection.

No luckwith Benjamin Hodgson so far, but chances are there is a connection between the famiies.

Thanks once again for all your help

Hi scruffypup
I am researching my wife's family. She is a direct descendent of John Hodgson thru James Hodgson, George Hodgson, John Hodgson etc.

I would like to thank you for publishing the church records which I cannot access (we are in Australia). Your notes added a couple of generations for us

If you have any other info you can share it would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
