Hi All
I have done as Rutti Tutti suggested and read the information about researching in S.A.
My information is based on a letter I received from a relative saying that Henry came to S.A. late 1860 from England.
That is why I am still burning the midnight oil as I can not go to bed until now as I have found it quite intriguing.
I have found quite a few references to him, yet if anyone can assist with his arrival or death and events in-between I would be very grateful.
T.I.A.

Hi Moria.
Yes I found quite a few references to him.
Are we able to noted here if so I will.
Looks like he had quite a few problems concerning the law.

I wonder if anyone could take possible gravestones that are listed in Old Grahamstown Cemetery, Grahamstown, Western Cape.
1. Guybon Hutton. Born 24-02-1851, Died 12-04-1851. Son of Henry Hutton.
2. Charles Henry Hutton. Born 04-05-1857, Died 26-11-1858. Son of Henry Hutton.
3. Henry Hutton. Born 12-05-1825, Died 21-01-1896.

I have now found that Henry and his brother Adam arrived in S.A. in 1850.
Neither were married and travelled alone and at different times.

I checked the Carbineers rolls and Henry James Cooper Hutton signed up as member of the Richmond Troop in 1855
