Please could someone look up Helen Francis in the 1861 census for me.
She was born in Derby in about 1858 and I am in some confusion about her parents. Family information says that her father was Joseph and that he was a coach painter; the 1871 census however has her living with Joseph's brother (?) William as his daughter. In 1871 they lived in St Werburgh parish in Derby, and William was an upholsterer. I'd be glad to know what 1861 says about Helen and her family
Many thanks!

Thank you for looking that up for me. Looks like the family memory is not infallible after all - someone down the line has confused father and uncle. I'll have a chat with my dad about that.
