Help to find birth dates!

I am struggling to find 2 exact dates of birth for Jane Victoria Styles / Stiles?  and her brother George Albert.
Both are shown as being christened in Feckenham .. Jane on 2307 1838... George on 2207 1840. Parents are George and Susan/Susanna?, however cannot find them on BMD to obtain details enabling me to order copy certificates.
Strangely BMD did produce a birth of a "Jane Victoria Stiles HAINES" registered in Bromsgrove (which covers Feckenham) but period July/Aug/Sept 1863....date is obviously way out - but who knows!!
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi

Unfortunately - although Civil Registration was introduced in 1837 - it was 1874 became it became compulsory to register a birth.

Consequently - many births went unregistered

A couple of possibles, I think that area came under Alcester or Pershore.

Births Jun 1838.
STILES Female, Alcester, 16, 161.

Births Dec 1839.
Stiles George, Alcester, 16, 152.   

Births Mar 1840.
Stiles George, Pershore, 18, 444.

Thank you both - its so frustrating...
I have seen both the Alcester and Pershore births and have had to eliminate them from my enquiries, so to speak.

My main reason for trying to obtain either of their birth certificates is to establish their mothers maiden name...... Susan/Susanna/h...??  However I have been unable to find a definate marriage record for her and their father - George.  I believe She was born in Feckenham around 1800/01 -  and I have been able to establish that George was illigitimate and was born in Hanbury around 1806 - mother being Elizabeth Styles.

I feel my only other option may be a trip to the Records Office, - would I be able to find anything there ?
