Thomas Roberts Marriage to Sarah Jane Peters (or Jones) in Wrexham, Denbighshire, in 1905.

Can anyone help me in tracking down descendants of Thomas Roberts who, I believe,  married my Step Gt Grandmother Sarah Jane Peters (or Jones) in Wrexham 1905.

I have put this post on the Denbighshire board already but I've not had much response and as I think that Sarah came from Oswestry, I thought I should maybe put it on the Shropshire board also,
I know nothing about Thomas and all I know about Sarah is that she was a widow when she married Thomas.

Maybe someone out there recognises the names from their Family History?

I'd appreciate any help. this is the link to the post on the denbighshire board.

I have to stride the Denbighshire/Shropshire boards quite often with my ancestors - as you know(and I have my fair share of Roberts and Jones !)  Smiley

Have you tried for them in Shropshire on the 1911? Or are they in Wrexham (Denbighshire should be out soon).

How old was Sarah at her marriage to Thomas and who was her father?

I  originally placed a post on the common room board , back in Feb 09, when I was just  looking for Sarah Jane Peters.

You were a great help to me at that time and you found a Sarah Jane Peters on the same page 377 as Thomas Roberts, on the North Wales BMD.

So from that and although it's a long shot in the dark, I thought it was worth placing another post looking for these people as a couple , in the hope that maybe they did marry and that someone might recognise them from their own family history.

I sincerely hope that I havn't fogged the issue and that someone just might pop up.

I really appreciate your help.

Hi Barbara

There is and Emily M Roberts, Sept q, 1912, Oswestry, vol 6a page 1143.  Mother's maiden name - Peters

Also a Charles Roberts, Dec q, 1915, Oswestry, vol 6a page 986a. Mother's maiden name - Peters

also a Sarah Jane Roberts in Oswestry in the 1911. It would be worth you checking that one out if you have a subscription.
