Burial - John Henry SMITH
« on: Tuesday 21 April 09 18:00 UTC (UK) »

Hello Rootschatters,

I wonder if I could beg the help of anyone.  I would really like to plug a big hole in my wall as after nearly 5 years of research, I am still at a loss.

I really need to know what happened to my Gt.Grandfather, John Henry Smith (born 1861 in Semley).  I know for sure he was living in Wiltshire in 1912 from the electoral roll and I know he was still alive in 1921 - he is on a wedding photo that I have.  But after that, nothing.

I think he must have moved away from Wiltshire.  I have checked the burial registers in all the villages surrounding his long term residence.

Always hopeful and ever grateful if someone can help.
