father is unbaptised – Old Dilton Church
« on: Wednesday 22 April 09 21:26 UTC (UK) »

In the Dilton records there is a baptismal record - Jane MILLARD daughter of Rachel MILLARD, occ labourer, living Short St., baptised 15 May 1842, no age of Jane noted.  In the margin there is a note that father is unbaptised.

Do I interpret the note that the “father is unbaptised” to mean anything other than just that?

Do I interpret that Rachel MILLARD is not married to the father?

What are your thoughts?

Regards
Grantley
