Hi All, Are there any newspapers relating to Reading, Wallingford or Berkshire in general available on-line or any plans to make them available in the future. Cheers Smiley

Its recession time again - so I doubt there will be many new digitisation projects (especially as the British Library's scheme was in touble before the crash). Which means that it is unlikely that many more historic newspapers will be digitised in the next few years.

So you are left with Jackson's Oxford Journal - part of the British Library's 19th Cent newspaper collection - available online through Gale. Probably better for Wallingford than Reading - but not ideal for either.
