Hello I wonder if any one could shed some light on the CHRISTOPHER  family
of  Manswood  near Wimborne  Dorset

I am looking for details of jessie and Ellen Christopher   all I know is at the time of death of their son Montague William Christopher  nov 1916  age 32  during ww1 they lived at Critchel  manswood .

Any info on this family would be wonderfull

Hi,

The Moor Crichel page on http://www.opcdorset.com has some early baptisms/marriages/burials and 1841 and 1861 census.   There is also contact detail for the OPC, who has other data available.     Gussage St Michael page also has 1841 and 1861 census.

Reuben CHRISTOPHER c. 1804 appears to be the brother of William, born c. 1813.
IGI has submitted baptisms of Reuben and William born Witchampton , Dorset, parents William and Mary.

Will see if I can confirm any of this Wink

I cant thank you all enough I have now manged to find the missing link to my family

Jessie and Ellen son Montague married Matilda chedzey of Puriton Somerset  and so the story continues
