Hi

Hoping someone can help me find any details about William and Helen Millar, Corstorphine, Edinburgh city. Particularly Helen.

William was born in 5/05/1805 in corstorphine, edinburgh
Helen was born Helen Cooper abt 1790's to 1802,

I am looking to confirm her parents and where she was born? If anyone can help i would be really grateful.

william millar age 36 ag labourer born midlothian
helen millar age 40 born outside census county
+ children

married 31st may 1829 corstorphine midlothian(IGI)

born 1802 fife according to this -

this death on scotlandspeople is maybe worth a look
if it is her you should get her parents  Undecided

Hi,  William Millar was the brother, of my GGgrandad, Robert Millar also born at Corstorphine Edinburgh,in1815. I have Helen Cooper born in Fife Scotland in 1802 they married 31st May 1829ithe old Church of Scotland in Corstorphine.    Margaret Millar was born   September22 1831 I have her in three Censuses between 1841 and 1871 aged 39 and living at Uphall West-Lothian Scotland. it give's her occupation as servant.   William Millar's father was John Millar born 1780  his wife was Margaret Fairley born 1780. My Mother was also a Millar born in Ratho Midlothian in 1909. Corstorphine and Ratho were the place's where most of the Millar history is to be found. Hi Michelle, My family are part Millar, of the Corstorphine and Ratho Millar's   William Millar was the brother of my GGgrandfather Robert Millar born in 1815. William's wife was Helen Cooper born 1802 in Cupar Fifeshire. I have most of the Millar history.  Gilmont
