correct place name?
« on: Saturday 25 April 09 09:41 UTC (UK) »

Is there a town/village called Riscivet? my ancestors James more/moir and janet davidson were supposed to have been married there on December 27, 1817 but I can't seem to find any reference to this place. Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated

I think it could be Resthivet - from a list of place names within Chapel of Garioch parish.
