A very good site for researching that ares is Libindx, it includes obituaries from local papers as well as headstone references and legal records.

You May find this site helpful,

http://libindx.moray.gov.uk/mainmenu.asp

I searched for the Trawler on this site, but did not see it listed,

you can also search Cemeteries here too, and the contact detail for the Heritage Centre

There is only one kirkyard in Essil. It's a mile or so south of Garmouth.

See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/153799

The burial records are held by Moray Council, and the Local Heritage Centre in Elgin has microfilms of the burial records.
