1851/1841 Huddersfield

I am looking for John Smith (Sorry!!)
I have him and his family in Huddersfield for the 1861/1871/1881 census. But I would like to know if he was there for the 1851.

In 1851 his family would be
John Smith 28
Cecily Smith 28
Thomas Smith 3
John H Smith 1

I also wondered if I could track him down in the 1841 census. I belive he was born (1822) in Misson, Notts and that his parents were William Parkinson Smith and Ann Carlile.

Any information would be gratefully received.

Cicely SMITH found in Kirklees 1851 Census 1 entry in Yorkshire W. Riding during 1851

The local society do offer a whole-area listing for all Smiths (1851 & 1841) for I think 2.50 pounds each. It may work out cheaper than looking at each Smith as you go.
