Hello Mariac,
Thanks for your kind offer. No, I have her in 1891. This is the saga.  The family had moved from Ledbury to Lancs, and there the trail goes cold. In 1901 the  children are in a home. Elizabeth and her husband have vanished. No sightings. Working on the possibility of them returning to HFD I found Elizabeth H and although the surname is that of her first husband thought for some reason or other they may have been using that. On her remarriage she became Elizabeth Wheale bn c 1854. I found a death in 1907 that was possibly her husband James, so sent away for the cert. He died in the Hfd/Ledbury workhouse so no family info on the cert. The brick wall is getting higher.
Thanks again,
Hinton

Hi Hinton
I note in the 1901 census there is a child James Wheale born 1893 with his siblings Mary and Joseph and also the death of Elizabeth Wheale in the same year.

I know the age on the bdm is 30 but it may be worth a look.
  Just a thought

Mariac

Hello Mariac,
These are their children left in a home. Elizabeth showed up again in Lancs at some stage and died there aged 82.
Thanks for your help.
