Enjoying the silence

Hi, I was just wondering if someone could do a look up for all Sarah Cowlishaw's aborn between 1829 and 1831 for me please? My Sarah says she was born in 1830 in Heanor, but the only 2 I can find are one born 1831 to Joseph and Elizabeth at St Peters, Derby and the other the same year to William and Mary, same parish Thanks.

Hi LKL, Thank you for searching for me, however I forgot to mention i was after look ups on the baptisms entries, as I want to check how many there actually were before focussing on one particular one. Thanks once again.

no worries - she's the only real candidate age wise using the Census - can see a few in Derbyshire, and the St Peters one, but only her fits 1829-31

Hi Burto,
it seems the baptism of sarah Cowlishaw in St Peters Derby to parents william and mary could be your Sarah
1841 census LKL posted I think is the correct family - but 1841 only gives the county of birth -not the town - so all we know from that census is that Sarah was born in Derbyshire and living in heanor derbys
1851 however gives her p.o.b. as Derby Derbyshire
1851 heanor Derbyshire William Cowlishaw head m 44 fwk Heanor Derbys mary wife 42 brinsley Notts Sarah daughter 20 sticher Derby Derbshire Martha daughter 14 heanor Derbys William son 12 heanor Derbys Richard lodger M 52 FWK heanor Derbys hannah wife 36 heanor Derbys Thomas lodger U 49 labourer heanor derbys deaf and Dumb Mary lodger 1 heanor Derbys HO107 2126 45 8
William and Martha's christenings are to be found
St Lawrence heanor Derbys William Cowlishaw 17/3/1839 Martha Cowlishaw 3/2/1837 both to parents William Cowlishaw/Mary resident heanor occ of William FWK
so it doesn't look like sarah was b heanor and it seems you have found her christening in derby
