I have the following info on Edward Barnard. Would there be anything more in local newspapers etc of the time? As he had lived his working life in London, perhaps he lived with  a relative in Kibworth in his old age?

Barnard, Edward. On Sunday [30 Aug] died at Highbury-place, Mrs. Barnard, wife of Mr. Barnard, stationer (Daily Advertiser 1 Sep 1778). Died Jan 5, 1816, advanced in years, Edward Barnard, Esqr. of New Lodge, Kibworth, Leicestershire, formerly an eminent stationer in Ave-Maria-Lane (Gent. Mag. 1816, 92)

Seems Edward was not buried in Kibworth then. ……  Shocked

Owston is 12 Miles North East of Kibwoth .near to Tilton - on - the - Hill.

Looks like it Mike

There is a marriage in the IGI at Owston 1780
Edward Barnard to Ann Green

I am fairly sure it is the correct one - there is reference A2A to their 4 children, Edward, John Dawson Barnard, Ann Maria (who married Joseph Scott) and another daughter Mary Jane who inherited property in Lincolnshire from their grandmother Ann Green

Dear Mike and Debbie,
Apologies for delay in responding to your posts - family and computer difficulties! - I am most grateful for this info. I have now found I can access Edward BArnard's Will via the National Archives Documentsonline, so that should confirm if it is the Stationer who may have married again, or another EB.
