Claire,

Mary Caffrey was probably related to Lawrence and John Caffrey who in 1852  lived in the townland of Mylerstown which is adjacent to Mullacash in the civil parish of Killashee and Catholic parish of Two Mile House which is sometimes listed as Newbridge.

Mary Caffrey was a sponsor for Patrick Daly, born Mylerstown, son of Bryan Daly and Rose Toole when he was baptised 17th March 1825 at Two Mile House (Newbridge) the other sponsor was Peter Toole.

Dan and Thomas Caffrey were sponsors for two other children of the same family in 1823 and 1839 respectively, whilst Lawrence Caffrey was a witness at the marriage in 1822.

There were only 11 occupied houses at Mylerstown in 1841 (pre Famine ) reduced to 9 in 1851 (post Famine) so it was a tight knit community.
