Hi,

Does anybody have any information on Robert Grieve (b.1810 approx in St Andrews, Middlesex).  He was a jeweller and married Ellen who was born around 1821.  They had six children:  John, Ellen, Jane, George, Louisa and Florence who were all born in Islington after 1845. 

My line comes from John who went onto marry Hannah Bedingham and had two children called Charlotte (my great grandmother) and Frederick.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Just spotted your post on here re: Robert Grieve, but wanted to ask you about your connection to Bowden's from Dorset/Devon. I also have Bowdens on my list, originating in Kenton, Nr Dawlish. They are my husbands side and ended up in Aldershot, about 3miles from here! Any of yours from around there?

GRIEVE trying to track a James Grieve only info is born scotland btw 1851-1861 came to australia where he married an Elizabeth Carey and had children Robert, Maggie,Ethel and Louisa
