Harrison Hood married Mary Ann Buckle in 1884? Did they have a son named Harrison?
If not, perhaps the marriage of Harrison Hood to Mary Fleming in September Q of 1926 is a second marriage for him, and the widow who died in 1943 wasn't Mary Ann née Buckle. In 1901 Harrison's wife is aged 44 - so born c1856. Mary Hood who died in 1943 aged 83 would have a birth date c1860.

So the death cert is that of his first wife (nee Buckle)?
But ... in 1943 so cant be, as he remarried 1926 and death cert says "widow of..."

I think what is being said is that the abandoned wife Mary Ann (nee Buckle) was described on her death on 1943 as a widow although of course she was not. (This doesn't strike me as that odd - my ggg-grandfather deserted his wife and married bigamously, and the deserted wife thereafter described herself as a widow).
Her estranged husband and his second "wife" then died within days of each other in 1949.

Hi all
found this on National Archives;
Court for Divorce and Matrimonial Causes, later Supreme Court of Judicature: Div...Divorce Court File: 4197. Appellant: Olive Mary Hunter-Blair. Respondent: Colin Edward Hunter-Blair. Type: Wife's petition for divorce [WD]. . Date: 1932.
and then this;
Court for Divorce and Matrimonial Causes, later Supreme Court of Judicature: Div...Divorce Court File: 4432. Appellant: Claude Ernest Thompson. Respondent: Louise Thompson. Co-respondent: Colin Hunter Blair. Type: Husband's petition for divorce [HD]. . Date: 1932.
could Louise be Louise Hood Fox?
ooo my
Claude Ernest Thompson = on same page Louisa HOOD
Dec q 1905 Strand London, Middlesex 1b 1093
So If Louise divorced Ernest Thompson and Colin Hunter Blair divorced Olive in the same year ... there must be a marriage for them ...thus making Colin Hunter Blair the son-in-law.
We would have to search the complete marriage index from 1932 onward
