Is there anywhere where I can search for MI's from Premnay? I believe a George Milne and Jean Milne nee Smith are buried there. Also an Elizabeth Milne nee Sherriffs or Shirras.

Sorry - I haven't been online for a while.

Stone 20 in Premnay reads:

Under this stone is interred the body of GEORGE MILNE sometime farmer in Cowbrigdale, Parish of Oyne d.29 Apr 1798 aged 78.  Also JEAN SMITH his lawful spouse d.9 Dec 1782 aged 59.

Stone 22 contains the following (I didn't copy all the transcription), but this is the only mention of an Elizabeth Milne:

JAMES MILNE d.18 June 1870 aged 68
MARGARET d in infancy July 1843
THOMAS & ALEXANDER (Twins) d in infancy 1847
JOHN d.14 Mar 1858 aged 17
GEORGE d.13 May 1861 aged 27
JAMES d.18 Feb 1886 aged 49
wife MARGARET WILSON d.11 Mar 1889 in 79th year
daughter ELIZABETH d.19 June 1893 aged 54
WILLIAM d.14 May 1913 aged 78

As I mentioned in another post, these transcriptions are unchecked so maybe inaccurate, although hopefully not.

I hope this helps you.
