Can anyone tell me if there's a river or canal that runs through or near to Corby?

Kind regards, Brenda

Depends on what you mean by near. The river Welland runs fairly close. There is a canal at market harborough about 10 miles or so away. Nowhere in northamptonshire is all that far from the river Nene

Many thanks for your reply, I was trying to establish if a man born in Corby might be the same person as an ancestor who worked the canals, just trying to break down a brick wall.

Best wishes, Brenda
