Hello - I've been here before and found a lot of helpful people, well now I'm back just to tidy up a few things. is anyone able to find the baptism of Margaret Helks, Elks, Elkes daughter of John Helks and Margaret Purcall who married 1821 Wellington.   Working back by age given in census she was born in 1838? Not using Wellington as a search there is a Margaret 1838 Wem &C  (freeBMD) is that near Wellington?   Henry 1840 doesn't show.

If it helps these are children still with them in 1841 (It would be interesting to know of earlier children)
Maria 12 - 1829
Esther 10 - 1831
Mary 8 - 1833
Elizabeth 4 - 1837
Margaret 3 - 1838
Henry 1 - 1840

Sons are hard to come by with Elks genetics it seems, this continues, my grandfather had 11 daughters.  And because of the variations in spelling it's hard to follow them at times, I've even found Alkes.

I can live without knowing, but I'll be pleased to recieve anything you might find.  cheers Fred
