Hi you are definatly related to me, my name is Kate and my gg gran was Mary Robinson who married Henry Wookey, Letitia was Marys mother. I have only just found Roots chat so im quite new to this as well, but i am a member of ancestry which I find quite good. If i can help just let me know from kate.

Just got back from Cornwall from a Trelawny Memorial service.
Yes we are related indirectly & given time I can tell you how. You are not correct about Sophia's birth at Shotwick Park. Sophia was born in Kensington Sq --I have her baptism. Her older brother Charles did not inherit Shotwick park until c 1802, I have exact date in hard copy somewhere. Sophia was married from the later family home in Soho Sq.
I will get back in touch shortly.

Hi Andy and Vesta I live in Shepton Mallet Somerset, I only know a little bit about John Robinson, and its not a lot im afraid he was born Bristol, I need to go back to Bristol records office and find who his mother and father are. He was visiting an Elizabeth Greenish on one of the cencus records, and I did wonder if this was a relative . Are you both members of Ancestry as I find this quite help full. Hope to hear soon from Kate.

Kate--the computer says we are 4th cousins twice removed & Andy we are 4th cousins once removed.
John L. Freeman was b. Dec 1771 Bap. 1 Jan 1772 I have the record
Sophia was born 1762 Kensington Sq -- she was married from Soho Sq.
John L. Freeman's father was Thomas Freeman & his Mum was Elizabeth
possibly Powell but I can't prove that yet she died 1832 in Newport.
Yes Sophia had a younger sister Laetitia who died unm Brighton in 1857.
Sophia's elder brother was My GG Grandfather. I live is Surrey.

John Freeman's father was another John Freeman & John Powell Robinson's father was Thomas Robinson & his mother was Elizabeth.

Hi Andy i suppose to to much of a surprise you live just up the road from me, Im lucky as have nearly always lived in this area which makes tracing my tree quite easy. At least you have good web sites, like this one to find other members of your tree to piece it together. Are you on face book? as i am under Kate Hopkins. Nice to know Sophia and Letitia are family names just let me know if you need to know anything else, like i said before my tree is on Ancestry.co.uk from kate.

don't know if you've found letitia baptism and on another post you asked about her brother henry
on the below site there is a letitia and henry freeman both bap. 26-6-1806 bosherston parents sophia and john

and his sisters

Thank you Sharon - I was not aware of that link. Question: Do you have anything on a third child - John Trelawny Freeman. I have no dates for him at all.
Also would you have anything on Letitia Ann FREEMAN's Grandparents, all I have is John Freeman and Rebecca?

I believe that Ann Freeman was mother of John Freeman Snr. who married Rebecca & had about 9 children, one was our John L.Freeman who had a brother David. They all lived Crickmail Farm.
