I have come across two old sepia photographs one from my fathers family and one from my mothers. one photo is on a postcard from IOM) does this perhaps mean the studio was in the isle of man? the second photo shows two very smart ladies and the address on the back says Argyle St Birkenhead. How does one go about tracing these relatives or at least putting names to them if that is possible.

hi, try them on the photographic restoration and dating board, they may be able to give you a date for the photos. then you have to find out which of your ancestors it could be.. john.
