I am looking for Mary Ann Monaghan b @ 1864 Wexford Ireland.
She was found in widnes Lancs on 1881 Census as a domestic servant.
I would like to trace her parents and any other family from Irleland, There
does not appear to have any of her family with her in 1881.
Any help greatly appreciated

Full Civil registration started in Ireland in 1864, and there's a birth registration listed on the familysearch Irish Civil Index (http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#c=1408347;p=2;t=searchable) that look like it might be worth following up :
Name: Mary Anne Monehan Registration district: Wexford Record type: Birth Registration date - quarter and year: 1864 Volume: 9 / Page: 1001
(There's another Mary Anne birth listed in 1866) You can order a research cert from the GRO (www.groireland.ie) using these details. If you you her fathers details for a marriage cert, you could confirm if this is indeed the correct person.

His parents and relatives were informed of the sad event on Thursday morning. MONAGHAN, THOMAS. Rank: Lance Corporal. Regiment or Service: Royal Munster Fusiliers. Unit: "D" Coy. 6th Bn. Age at Death: 28. Date of Death: 09-August-1915. Service No: 3186. Born in Taghmon, Co Wexford. Enlisted in Maesteg, Glamorgan. Killed in Action in Gallipoli. Supplementary information; Son of John and Elizabeth Monaghan of Taghmon, Co. Wexford. From an article in a Wexford Newspaper; Four sons with the colours. Taghmon’s contribution to the fighting forces is fairly large, and amongst the brave boys at the front are the four sons of Mr and Mrs John Monaghan, of Taghmon…. . Adam Monaghan who was working in Wales at the outbreak of war, joined the Wiltshire Regiment and is at present on active service. He was a talented young man and composed poems of happenings in his native district. Since he went to the firing line he wrote an excellent poem entitles “Tommy in the Trenches, ” which we published in our issue of April 24th. Tommy Monaghan is at present with the Munster Fusiliers at the operation on Gallipoli Peninsula. Though he participated in the landing where the Munsters performed great deeds, and the subsequent engagements, has escaped unscathed. The many friends of the gallant lads will join with us in wishing them a safe return from the war. James Monaghan was engaged at his trade in Manchester when war was declared. He rejoined his regiment, with which he had some years previously served in India. He has been in the thick of the fray since the outbreak of hostilities, but has escaped with a whole skin. He served his apprenticeship to the tailoring business with Mr. L. O’Grady, of High Street, Wexford, and here, as with his comrades in the army, he was exceedingly popular. Henry Monaghan at present engaged with the very important unit, the Army Service Corps. Prior to joining the colours he was employed by Mr, O’Ryan, Tomcoole, and, like his brothers, he was a great favourite. Grave or Memorial Reference: Panel 185 to 190. Memorial: Helles Memorial in Turkey.
