James Rankine/Anna Bogie
« on: Sunday 07 June 09 13:27 UTC (UK) »

I have just discovered that the above two ancestors died on the same day in
Colden (I think).  The date was 24/04/1732.  I was wondering whether any rootschatters can advise where I could find out what the cause of death was.
It seems rather unusual that they died together.

If anyone is also related to  them I would be v. interested. They were born in
1654 and 1651 respectively.

Does Colden still exist today?? Undecided

Hi Rootschatters,

I have discovered that they died of some sort of plague!!

If any of you have deaths in that area in 1732 it could well be the same cause.  I am now wondering what sort of plague it could have been.
