Edward Noice married Elizabeth Risbridger 1/11/1705 in Madehurst, Sussex. I have an extensive knowledge of the Noice side but nothing of Elizabeth Risbridger - Birth abt 1682/place ?/parents etc?/siblings? Any assistance would be welcomed. Regards, Maxn

Hi Maxn
I looked on the SFHG database and could'nt see her at all, there are no Risbridgers in Madehurst at all either.
I have Risbridgers in my tree but they came from Horley, Horne and Burstow in Surrey. Could well be the same line.

There is an Elizabeth Russbridge baptised on 17 January 1677 to William Russbridge at West Tarring, St Andrew.
I need to look at a map though because I'm not sure where that is in relation to Madehurst.

Thanks Kerry. Any further info would be appreciated. I am in Australia so identification of localities are very difficult to ascertain. Regards, Maxn

Hi Maxn
Madehurst is very close to Arundel and on findmypast there are loads of Rusbridge burials. I've not managed to find West Tarring although I think it is on the coast.
If this lot is anything like my lot they quite easily interchange between Risbridger/Risbridge and Rusbridge/Rusbridger so be warned they can be difficult to find.
Kerry
PS Just found West Tarring it is part of Worthing along the coast from Arundel. That makes me think this is not the right Elizabeth but worth holding on to just in case.
