My Grandparents were JOHN JOSEPH BRADY (b 1878 in Dublin) and CATHERINE CAFFREY (b ??). They came over to England around the turn of the 1900's and settled in Ormskirk and later Liverpool. I know his parents were EDWARD BRADY and ELIZABETH LAWLER and siblings JAMES, FRANK, POLLY, PATRICK and EDWARD. Frank was a professional footballer and Edward had 3 footballing sons including LIAM BRADY, but that's were I meet my brickwall with regard to the Irish side of the family. Anybody have any information, especially on the Caffrey side?

If John Joseph Brady was born in Dublin is the Cavan connection further bacK? Perhaps you could tell us exactly what sort of details you are trying to find so that we could either find more information for you or suggest where to look next.
Hi, cant help you on the Caffrey side but on the Lawler side, well. I am related to an Anne/Johanna Lawler, born Westminster. To cut a long story short she has three children by a man who doesnt live with her but lives two doors down from a James and Ada Lawler in London. Ambly on here very kindly gave me the details for them
52 Hanover Street Head: James LAWLER 38, Machine Attendant, b Liverpool Wife: Ada LAWLER 28, b St George, Hants
Im not yet sure of my link with them but this may be your James Lawler? Roofy
